Kellogg’s Eggo Plant and Cargill Salt 2005 to 2012
TESTIMONIAL
Mclean Electric has been working as an industrial contractor in food processing facilities since the mid 90s. In our early days the work was all about fundamentals: pipe, wire, and making it work! As the company grew so did the requirements of our clients, and the projects that we were being offered led us to Myles and Millennium Mechanical.
Kellogg Automated Premix and Plant Alarms Projects
As the Kellogg’s Eggo plant moved from manual to automation-driven batching, Myles was there to help us design and install all the critical elements of a high quality food-grade system. His expertise in the design of stainless steel mechanical racking and supports ensured an installation that met the most exacting cleaning and sanitation requirements of the client.
Millennium Mechanical was also instrumental in helping us tackle the installation of a plant-wide fire alarm system. While any number of engineering and CM firms will claim to have what it takes, Myles’ years of experience in working with regulatory agencies during the permitting and inspection process proved invaluable to getting the job done.
Cargill Amphibious Pump Unit
When Mclean Electric was offered to design and install a salt remediation transport system, it was Myles that ultimately designed and oversaw construction of a drivable, amphibious pumping station that made it possible. His work has allowed our client to clear hundreds of acres former salt ponds as part of a restoration project.
Over the years Myles has proven to be a tireless and essential collaborator for all of our high profile projects, and we look forward to continuing that relationship.
